This Privacy Policy explains how HiveGlow ("HiveGlow", "we", "us") handles personal information when you visit our storefront, create or use an account, place or manage an order, contact support, submit a review or after-sales request, join a preorder reservation, or otherwise use our services. The legal identity and registered contact details of the seller and data controller must be shown in the applicable order confirmation or site contact information. If mandatory local law requires additional disclosures, that law applies.

1. Information we handle

Account and identity data: name, email, phone, password hash, verification records, preferences, account identifiers, and identifiers or profile data supplied by enabled Google, Facebook or PayPal sign-in services.
Order and delivery data: cart and order contents, product and price snapshots, discounts, currency, tax, billing and delivery addresses, delivery instructions, shipment and customs information, and order history.
Payment and refund data: payment provider, transaction, capture and refund identifiers, payment status, risk results and limited payment-method details returned by PayPal, Stripe or another enabled provider. We do not intentionally store a complete card number or card security code.
Customer-content data: reviews, images, anonymous-display preference, support conversations and attachments, feedback, preorder reservations, after-sales reasons, evidence and return-shipment information.
Device, usage and security data: IP address, approximate country, browser, device, operating system, referral and visited pages, product interactions, performance diagnostics, cookies, consent choices, authentication, fraud, abuse, error and audit logs.
Communications: transactional notices, customer-service messages, marketing-email preference and delivery records.

2. Sources and purposes

We obtain information from you, your device, payment and sign-in providers, carriers, fraud-prevention services and service providers. We use it to create and secure accounts; perform orders, payments, delivery, returns and refunds; calculate tax and shipping; provide support and notifications; operate reviews and reservations; prevent fraud, abuse and chargebacks; diagnose and improve the service; comply with law; and establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

3. Legal bases

Where required, we rely on performance of a contract, compliance with legal obligations, our legitimate interests in security, fraud prevention, service operation and legal protection, and consent for activities that require it, such as certain marketing or non-essential tracking. Consent may be withdrawn without affecting earlier lawful processing.

4. Cookies, analytics and advertising

Necessary technologies support sessions, security, carts, checkout and preferences. If enabled, analytics or advertising technologies may include our own analytics and services such as Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity or Meta. Where consent is required, non-essential tracking should not be activated until consent is obtained. You may change available choices through the consent control or browser settings. Blocking necessary storage may prevent core features from working. We do not sell personal information for money. Some advertising disclosures may be treated as "sharing" under certain laws; where applicable, we will provide the required opt-out mechanism and honour legally recognised preference signals.

5. Disclosure and international transfers

We disclose only information reasonably necessary to enabled payment and identity providers, carriers and customs partners, hosting, email, analytics, security and support vendors, professional advisers, authorities where legally required, and parties to a genuine corporate transaction. Providers process information under their own terms or our instructions as applicable. Information may be processed outside your country; where required, we use an applicable adequacy decision, contractual safeguard or other lawful transfer mechanism.

6. Retention and security

We retain information for the shortest period reasonably necessary for the stated purpose, including the life of an account; fulfillment and after-sales periods; tax, accounting and statutory limitation periods; payment-dispute and fraud-prevention periods; and security or audit needs. Deleting an account does not require deletion of records that must be retained for law, transactions, security or legal claims. We use reasonable administrative, technical and organisational safeguards, but no online system is completely secure. Users must protect their credentials and promptly report suspected misuse.

7. Your choices and rights

Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, withdrawal of consent, or an opt-out of certain sale, sharing, profiling or marketing; you may also complain to a competent regulator and must not be discriminated against for exercising a statutory right. We may verify identity, clarify a request, deny or limit it where a lawful exception applies, and retain a minimal record of the request. Marketing can be disabled through the account preference or message link where available.

8. Children

The storefront is not directed to children who cannot lawfully form a purchase contract or consent to data processing in their location. A parent or guardian should contact us if a child submitted information without valid authorisation.

9. Changes and contact

We may update this notice prospectively. We will change the date above and provide additional notice or obtain consent where legally required. A change does not retroactively remove rights attached to an existing order. Privacy and rights requests may be sent to privacy@hiveglows.com. Do not send passwords, complete card details or unnecessary identity documents by email.
